Stricklands Ice Cream

A decent ice cream place that has scoops, sundaes, milkshakes. There's not many flavors each day, a simple 5 or so. The ice cream is pretty thick and creamy, and has good flavor. I was disappointed by the size....I asked specifically the size of another customer's and was told a small....I ordered the same thing but my scoop barely filled the the cup itself...while the other one had plenty overfilling the cup. Consistency seems to be an issue here.

Best neighborhood ice cream place!! It’s a shame that Irvine company has driven them out of the neighborhood with their insane lease increases. Irvine company is ruining this city with padding their pockets along with the county board and whomever issues permits to the nonstop apartment builders. Stricklands is needed in Irvine and this city won’t be the same without it. Amazing ice cream and shakes!

They are always friendly at Stricklands! Oldfashioned ice cream at best. They have a flavored of the day. They always have a chocolate and vanilla. Their banana splits are fantastic. And a small is a good sized portion for the price.

Will be sad to see this place go due to greedy landlords over at the Irvine Company and we all know who owns the Irvine Company 🙄 Rents need to be reasonable and not the max they can squeeze out of people or business owners. As you can see in the images I have uploaded there are many people moving out and others moving in. That tells you that those which were here could not afford the rent increase. An increase in rent will break this business but less received from this business will not break the Irvine Company. Most shopping centers in Irvine are owned by the Greedy Irvine Company which milks businesses out of business with the amount of rent they charge. Not only do they charge you rent but at many places they want a cut of your profits too. Depending on how much you sell per year depends on how much extra you have to give them.

Very good icecream with pineapple vegan flavor or other options based on the day. Also makes good slushies.
